I love to bake and cook. I enjoy the challenge of making something tasty AND, I’m not ashamed to say, impressive. I like preparing food and presenting it so it feels like an event, even if it’s just a regular weekday dinner between my partner and myself. He will almost always say, “Ooh, fancy” when we sit down to dinner. I like to plate our dinners and make ordinary dinner special. A birthday cake a personal reflection. An old family recipe a center piece. I sometimes believe I am related to Martha Stewart.
I am, most certainly a fan.
